Your First Visit to Our Lutherville Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

During your First Visit Free Consultation, you will meet with the doctor to discuss your health problems and to determine what may be the cause. Any questions you may have will be addressed at this time.

If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, after doing so we’ll likely show you a short 5-minute video and then you’ll meet Dr. J. Mitchell Adolph.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you.  If we find that yours is a chiropractic case, we will recommend you undergo a Comprehensive Health Evaluation consisting of a thorough orthopedic, neurological, physical and chiropractic examination, a thermography and SEMG scan of your spine, postural spinal x-rays (if indicated), and any other tests necessary to determine the precise cause of your problem.

You will be scheduled for a Follow-up Consultation at which time we will discuss the results of your tests.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Mitch Asks some important questions of interest to Lutherville residents - Chiropractor Lutherville Dr. Mitch Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Lutherville chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
